About Us MicroLiter Analytical Supplies, Inc. was founded in 1996 to supply high quality consumable supplies to the Analytical Laboratory. From day one MicroLiter has had a philosophy to offer only stable, high performance products that are proven in performance or are developed through existing principles to ensure high performance. MicroLiter Analytical Supplies, Inc. utilizes 20 years of expertise to develop important products for the autosampler market. The MicroLiter Plate Sampling System™ was issued a patent effective June 1996 for the first Chromatography Vial in a multi-well array. This product line placed us several years ahead of the market by assisting the researcher who needed more samples on the sample handler in the same amount of space. The product line also assists preparation of samples by allowing the prep labs to utilize higher volume methods of sample prep. Samples had always been prepped in multi-well microplates and transferred to autosampler vials for final analysis. Now the final elution could be transferred to the Analytical Lab without costly transfers. Solvents that used to attack the microplate could now be used as the MicroLiter Plate Sampling System protects the sample integrity through the use of conventional chromatography vial materials. MicroLiter has established itself as a leader of microplate technology for chromatography. Since then MicroLiter has received two US patents with another pending for sample preparation on the autosampler. ITSP, or Instrument Top Sample Prep, is a unique device that allows users of CTC Analytics PAL sample handlers to filter or separate samples using Solid Phase Extraction. MicroLiter continues to offer high-performance autosampler vials and accessories. To underline this we do not consider any vial clean that enters our facility. To ensure cleanliness we have installed a cleaning process that results in very low particulate vials. As you know, gamma radiating products gives you clean dirt. Dirt, however, is still dirt in chromatography. MicroLiter believes we have an overall higher standard of products because we control the cleanliness of the products we sell, not our suppliers. To help you keep your closures clean MicroLiter offers them packed in tubing that can be incorporated in our proprietary cap and insert dispensers. Throughout the website you will see prices for our products. The first thing you should be able to see is that we do not charge extra for the cleanliness we incorporate into our products. Therefore, when large supply houses attempt to cross-reference our products to other vendors they are not comparing apples to apples. Just because it comes in a plastic pack doesn’t necessarily mean it’s clean. We hope that by ordering through this web site you will help us maintain our independence and our level of quality by placing orders over the web or through channels that do not cross reference us to a product that will make them a few more cents. We also do not believe that the specifications of our vials match the specifications of our competitors. With both product specification and packaging using completely different approaches than our competitors, it makes it that much more important to use the complete MicroLiter product line. If we have special pricing set up based on your volume, after establishing a log in and password, you will see those prices when you enter an order. You may also check order status, account balances and even set up templates for items you repetitiously order. We encourage you to allow us to bid on the total volume of your analytical supplies so that you best utilize the long-term relationship we want to establish. If you need samples of our products we invite you to request them either through a small trial order, or by entering (without the quotation marks) "Samples Please" in the "purchase order" field or "0.10" in the "quantity to order" field. We generally send 10 samples of a product you request. If you are not an established customer you will be asked for your credit card information and we will only charge you for the freight associated with the order, generally less than $6.00 USD. Please be aware that if you want to see the cleanliness we offer you need to order a pack of 100. This way the atmosphere we seal into the vials will arrive at your bench top in the same atmosphere.
